Batman Arkham Asylum/Arkham City

Batman Game Poster

The Batman Arkham trilogy was one of the games I was most excited about buying when I first got my Laptop. After watching gameplay videos for hours I was pumped up about jumping into my bat-suit and saving Gotham. Arkham City came out back in 2011 and it still holds up as one of the best superhero games ever made! The Game features highly well-polished combat and an open world. The puzzles are interesting and give a rewarding experience upon completion.

You fly around Gotham city solving crimes and putting all the petty crimes to death as the dark knight what more can you as for? The missions and level design are extremely engaging with some of the best boss fights ever seen in a superhero game.

The Arkham games feature a great storyline with iconic DC villains like the Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin and the Riddler making up for a perfect pair of games you can play on a low-end PC.

Prototype 2

The 2012 action-adventure open-world game is surely something you must play as a gamer. The ability to shape-shift and steal people’s identities is alone enough to sell you into playing this game. In addition to complete flexibility to who you can change into the game provides you with super-natural abilities like flying and tendrils which allow you to smash objects and dismember enemies

The game makes you feel like a total boss with extreme powers and freedom. The sequel to the already great 2009 game adds more features and builds on the already intriguing world. The combat of the game is highly free flowing and the ability to shapeshift adds a tactical touch to the game, how the NPCs react to you depends on the person’s identity you have stolen. for example, if you shapeshift into a soldier the NPCs around you will react to him in a way that shows that they want nothing to do with him.

A great storyline which picks up from where the previous game left with a unique and refreshing game design is surely something worth trying.

Deadpool

An Action-packed hack & slash third-person shooter game where you slice through enemies with explicit animations and combat while you verbally interact with Deadpool! Take my money! The game features an action and humour adventure similar to the other stories based on the character.

As Deadpool you have access to his Katana blades, Guns and even a hammer to smash some skulls and a range of other weapons as you progress through the game. The game also features a teleportation mechanic to dodge enemy attacks to complete the fast-paced combat package.

In addition to the engaging combat, the game gets even better with hilarious Deadpool moments and dialogues. Deadpool’s character is greatly represented with all his characteristics being an integral part of the adventure that embarks upon.

The game works fine on low-end computers with lowered settings below we have shown the performance you can expect.

Farcry 3

Far cry 3 game poster

Ubisoft’s first-person shooter open-world franchise has featured some classics down the road. Thought the recent games have been a slight letdown with repetitive gameplay and story. however, the real life of the series is in the classicFarcry 3. Farcry 3 offers some of the best story mode experiences with some extremely well-created characters and missions.

Exploration, surprises, action and thrill await you in the first-person open-world game set at the fictional Rook Island. The best part about the game lies in the story and the iconic villain ‘Vas’ who makes the game even better with a charm of his own.

The game brings fresh additions to the series and is arguably the most innovative and exciting jump from a previous FarCry game. FarCry 3 introduced iconic mechanics like paragliding, parachuting and wingsuits but what made the game more enjoyable was the extremely intriguing storyline and an amazingly created interactive world

The first games 2 are also playable but since I didn’t play them myself I cannot provide an accurate opinion!

Assassins creed 3

Another Openworld Ubisoft franchise with some unique and exciting features. Parkour around buildings, Unique stealth combat and an experience of a true assassin. The lore of each game is similar to some extent but various settings in places like me Boston, New York, Havana and more make the environment of the games different and worth exploring.

As you progress in the game more skills and weapons are unlocked making you more brutal and strong. The traversal and free roam in an Assasins creed world can be an amazingly satisfying experience as you jump around the buildings slitting throats and assassinating the crowd of enemies.

The Bioshock franchise needs no introduction, winning several awards and 10/10 ratings by various review publications. A classic first-person shooter set in fantasy worlds like the underwater city of Rupture and the Airborne city in Bioshock infinite. The 3 games feature similar core elements and mechanics but the story stands out in each.

The magical and superpower aspect of the game differentiates it from any typical first-person shooter game. As you progress you collect various weapons and plasmids as your work your way through the forces of enemies. The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

The Game of the Year 2011 winner! I can’t really make a list about games and not mention Skyrim. One of the best games in the open-world genre with endless exploration and possibilities. Even after years of release Skyrim still holds on as one of the best experiences a game can provide while still providing new content and secrets hidden in the massive world.

The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in Skyrim. Its main story focuses on the player’s character, the Dragonborn, on their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The game takes exploration and interaction with the world to a whole next level and sets up an epitome for every game in the same genre.
