The Keyboard splitter application allows users to convert their keyboards into virtual Xbox controllers and use their keyboard as an input device in games it doesn’t support. The Keyboard splitter provides the following features.

Steps to follow to emulate Keyboard as a controller

  • Download the Keyboard Splitter here
  • Extract the zip file and launch Keyboard Splitter
  • A prompt will be asking you to download the necessary drivers and Restart your computer
  • Open Keyboard Splitter.exe
  • On the home screen select the mouse or keyboard you would like to convert.
  • If you aren’t sure which keyboard is yours use the β€˜3 dots’ in order to take input and automatically detect the correct Keyboard.
  • In the Preset section specify the controller keys as per your convenience.
  • Hit start and your keyboard will act as a virtual controller.

A Computer normally doesn’t detect more than one keyboard and is only capable of taking input from only one of them. The Keyboard splitter allows your PC to take input from more than 1 keyboard. Changing the number of slots and allows you to convert multiple Keyboards and emulate them as a virtual controller. You can select up to 4 keyboards at once and personalize them separately.
