Though the remastered version was an upgrade over the original Wii version, with overhauls in visuals, textures, resolutions and a lot more. However, the Hd version of Twilight Princess has been surpassed by a fan who has done an amazing job at adding 4K textures to the original game which is without a doubt the best way to play The Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask on PC.

‘Henriko Magnifico’ is a YouTuber who has been creating HD texture packs for classic Nintendo titles like Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Wii Sports and a lot more. His work is appreciated by retro game fans, as he improves the visuals of the game without affecting the original visual appeal intended by the creators.

The texture pack replaces the blurry aged textures from the game and replaces them with new 4K textures. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution, if the internal resolution is increased in Citra you may be able to view some textures at a staggering 6832×3480 resolution!

Pairing up the 4K textures with the project restoration and HD hud mod makes the ultimate Majoras Mask experience. The project restoration mod fixes various problems with the game and makes it more playable and enjoyable. The mod is available for the 3DS version of the game and can be used on Citra as well.

The HD Hud mod moves the health, magic, and rupees from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen like it was in the original N64 game.
